Includes 1 water reservoir

• (Almost) never have to water again; the MM-mix soaks up water from the reservoirs through the wicks. 
• Filled up by rain, but any extra water drains out through overflow holes.  You only need to top it up yourself during long dry spells, and that’s done through fill tubes.
• Plants grow better and faster – the mix stays constantly moist, instead of being soaking wet one moment and bone dry the next. So your plants never go into survival mode and you get way more harvest. 
• There’s a layer of air above the water – this keeps the mix at the bottom from getting too wet and stops the roots from rotting – something that happens a lot with other water reservoirs. 
• You can easily go on vacation for a few weeks – your plants will just keep on growing.
• Made from indestructible, food-safe LDPE – the same standard as a microwave container. So the water for your plants is safe and clean.

Boards made from recycled plastic

New: MM coconut mix

• Always soaks up just the right amount of moisture from the reservoir – no matter how dry it is.
• Always stays airy and doesn’t compact – the chance your roots won’t get enough air, which almost never happened with the classic MM-mix, is now totally ruled out.
• The top layer stays dry and crumbly. This prevents leaf rot and attracts fewer slugs. 
• You never have to replace it – just top it up every now and then.
• Top it up with MM-nutrients – for this 4-section box, you’ll need about 1kg of MM-plant food every 2 years.
• Not just any coco soil – it’s got chunky flakes for extra airiness. It’s rinsed 3 times and buffered with calcium and magnesium, which gives you the perfect values for a veggie garden. We’ve tested the product thoroughly.

Slug shock wire (optional)

• Only needed if you have a ton of slugs in your garden. If you don’t have much trouble, the stainless steel legs of this table will keep most slugs out.
• The only solution that keeps all slugs out of your Makkelijke Moestuin box – big and small, both naked and shelled slugs.
• Specially made for MM-hero boxes. Includes a little housing unit and 4 stainless steel wires that you stretch around the box with a spring.
• The slug gets a shock if it touches 2 wires at the same time. It doesn’t die, just gets startled and turns around.
• The weak shock can’t be felt by people or pets. Only if you touch the wires with your tongue – but I’m guessing you weren’t planning on doing that ;)
• Runs on 3 AA batteries, just replace them once a year.
• You can always order and install it later if you want.

Trellis (optional)
