February: time to set up your garden
In fact, there's a huge advantage to starting now: you get a head start in the spring, have lots of pre-fun, and you're not just ready for this year but for years to come.
Starting a Planty Garden is super simple:
1. Set up your vegetable garden (say, with a starter kit)
2. Get step-by-step guidance from our free app
3. Garden for a few minutes a day

Starten op 1 maart
Daarom vieren we elk jaar op 1 maart de officiële opening van het Makkelijke Moestuin-seizoen. In de maand februari sturen we daarom alvast wat mails om je daarop voor te bereiden. Uiteraard heel relaxed 🙂
Already got a Planty Garden?
The winter vegetables you sowed can stay: they'll do just fine in cold weather. You can harvest from them once in a while, but they won't grow much until spring.
But February is a perfect month to have some pre-fun. Get inspired by other gardeners, make plans, and get your existing garden boxes ready for spring.
Tips for January
2. Prepare your garden boxes for the new season at the end of February.
What can you already sow?
But better wait with the rest: even if the weather is mild. The days are still short and seeds have a kind of built-in clock. During this time, they stay dormant 🙂
